Toshiteru Yamaji Started Taking Photographs In The 1960s While Working For The Marugame Municipal Government In Japan’s Shikoku Region, Mainly At Farms. The Work Connected Him With Hiroshi Kamimura, A Pig Farmer. After Retiring In 1997, Yamaji Continued To Take Pictures Of Kamimura For About Ten Years. His Images Give An Intimate And Heartfelt Glimpse Of A Man Whose Dedication And Kindness To The Animals In His Care Became A Lifelong Passion. According To Him, Raising Pigs With Love Every Day Not Only Gives Them A Good Life But Also Provides The Best Quality Pork.
