Today, perhaps the first thing we do when we see an image of something strange is wonder whether it’s real.
This analogue photograph is a testament to a game I was playing with a friend. We were in the middle of the desert, throwing handfuls of sand at each other. With every throw, a kind of explosive cloud would form, and I managed to capture one in mid-air.
