This photograph was made in 2025 at the Sysert Porcelain Factory in the Urals, Russia, as part of my project Sysert. The factory, founded in the 1960s, remains in operation today. The Soviet-era mural bears the words “Peace” and “Happiness,” surrounded by traces of time and the everyday processes of contemporary production.
