Trent Parke (b. 1971) is an Australian photographer and, since 2007, the first Australian full member of Magnum Photos. He started out as a newspaper photographer and is known for his personal, often darkly humorous pictures of Australian life. His books include Dream/Life, Minutes to Midnight and Monument.

In the early 2000s, Parke drove along the east, south and west coasts of Australia, photographing towns that were changing quickly. He shot in colour on medium-format film to record how these places looked before local shops and signs were replaced by chain stores and generic buildings. The large-format book includes motels, shop windows and advertising signs, and its cover is based on the newspapers once used to cover the windows of closed shops.
